A few months ago there was a controversial trade where the US traded suspected terrorist for a soldier that was claimed to had gone AWOL. This infuriated many American citizens who said the man should had been left there to die.

There is a war that is more serious then any which our troops are in. How are the warriors fairing in that major war?

All over this country, we Christians, have concentrated our forces on the physical fight of comfort and freedom as if we are fighting a revolutionary war. Meanwhile, we are spiritually laying back. Our battle is not in this flesh, but in the spirit. The Army of God, and the battle we are in, is not about a revolutionary war - that war has been fought and won on the cross. Our war is a war of liberation. Not the liberation of ourselves but the liberation of others. Not for our victory but for the victory of others.

If we sit back and don't fight for the liberation of others, we have went AWOL in the Army of God. If we are afraid of what someone will say to us, or what may be done to us, we are cowards in the Army of God. The heart of God is not cowardly; that heart which is inside those who pursue after God.

But the COWARDLY, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars —they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death
