ABIDING WITH FRUIT - Part 4 of 5

John 15:2
“Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.”

How does one tell the difference between a vegetable and a fruit? Fruit is any plant of the earth which bears the reproductive seed within it’s edible part. It is by this definition that we understand that tomato’s, squash, zucchini, etc are fruit and not vegetables. Fruit bears the life sustaining, reproduction, grove growing properties of the plant.

In Mark 16:15, Y’shua said to go into the world preaching; and James talks about converting men towards Christ (James 5:20). We, as those branches abiding in the vine of Christ, are to produce Kingdom building, reproductive fruit. We are to be witnessing of Christ and sowing seeds for the Kingdom of God.
