WHAT ARE WE THINKING?

I'm completely confused and amazed!! How a generation of church goers who know Hell is real, know that few will find the path; know that many who think they are going are not (because they did not do the will of the Father), that the generation is lukewarm, that they will have a form of godliness but lack the power of godliness. Yet still, they put their trust of their eternal life into the hands of a pastor, denomination, or evangelist and never pick up the Bible to study why these things will be and if their life just may be that one in error: they only pick up the Bible to follow along with their "trusted pastor" in what he tells them is the truth.
Who's to say your pastor, denomination, or evangelist is not one of those who will be crying "Lord Lord"? Thus then we have a blind leading the blind because virtually everyone in this generation merely follows the leader of another man rather than Holy Scripture itself.
I pray that we all would be moved to study Scripture, have a desire for Christ to the point we seek diligently after Him; and follow His ways.

Colossians 1:16 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.
It’s sad that we too often try to put ourselves as the center of our own lives; we live like everything revolves around us. I want this, I want that, I want the Spirit to move, I want this kind of music, etc. While God desires that none be lost, he was in existence long before man and will be long after. His life is not dependent upon us. He want’s us, but He wants us as children who put Him at our center; nothing we do is about us, but about God.
