Matthew 19:24 (KJV)
24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
I’ve always heard the explanation that the eye of the needle is an opening in the main gate of a city, and we must unpack our good’s to God to get through that needle. While this sounds all fine and dandy, we are missing what is being said because of a mistranslation in scripture and a reasoning to make it make sense.
In this passage, needle from the Greek is "rhaphis" which is an actual needle you sew with; NOT an entry way in a gate. This makes it sound like rich people are not going to heaven because it’s impossible to get a camel through an eye of a sewing needle. When the Medes and Persians conquered Babylon in 539 BC, though having their own religious practices, they were sympathetic towards the Babylonian god marduk while removing the priests from the other gods. They accommodated the priest of this god for a time but eventually removed the priest and used their own.
Most of these Babylonian priest left and went to Pergamum while others went to Egypt. The Egyptians widely accepted the teachings of the Babylonian priest and added to the religious ideas; finishing the forming of what we know as astrology today.
The religious practices of the Babylonian priest continued in Pergamum until about 133 BC when the last king of the Attalid Empire (Emenes’ son, Attalus III) died without an heir and bequeathed his kingdom to Rome. Read More…

True story: I once knew a couple who were slowly fading apart. They loved each other at one time, got married, and started a life. The man, though, had his love fade into another; a race car. Every bit of time and money went into that car, while his wife sat on the sidelines. She once asked him, "If you had an extra couple hundred dollars, would you buy something I wanted or something for the car?". He replied, "For the car"
Unless there were some changes, that couple is probably separated today. There was only one thing that could have fixed it. Read More…

These ten horns are not related to the ten toes as the ten would come out of the legs. Nor are the related to the ten horns of Revelation13, as this is the beast given its power by the seven headed dragon of Revelation 12.
