I KNOW YOUR WORKS

What is saved by grace?

For the grace of God that BRINGS SALVATION hath appeared to all men, TEACHING US that, DENY UNGODLINESS and WORLDY LUST, we should LIVE SOBERLY, RIGHTEOUSLY, and GODLY, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Titus 2:11-13 (KJV)

Your not just “saved by grace” but brought to salvation by grace by the teaching of living righteously and godly.

Some think that we are judged by works only for our reward, but what does the Bible say?

12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
Rev 22:12 (KJV)

27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
Matt 16:27 (KJV)

Yes, people pull this out of context and say we receive our reward; yet ALL receive their “reward”. Thus, the reward of the wicked will not be as pleasant as the reward of the righteous. But what about judgement to determine who goes to Heaven or hell?

Church of Pergamum: I know thy works (Rev 2:13)... Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth (vs 16)

I could go through each church, but each church Yeshua says: I know thy works then gives a recourse to their works. But does that mean judgment for life eternal or for reward?

Matthew 25 in the sheep from the goats shows that works is judgement of salvation also. Modernly it’s called sin of omission.

But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Matt 6:15 (KJV) - Salvation dependent upon our work of forgiveness

but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
Matt 19:17 (KJV) - Eternal life dependent upon keeping the Ten Commandments

12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
James 2:12 (KJV) - judgement based on the Ten Commandments

10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
2 Cor 5:10 (KJV) - judgment (good or bad) based on what we do to or in our bodies.

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Rev 20:11-12 (KJV) - The sinful, also judged according to their works.

13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Eccl 12:13-14 (KJV) - Talking of the Commandments of God (being the DUTY of man) in which the work of these will be brought into judgement, “whether it be good, or whether it be evil”

23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins [minds] and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
Rev 2:23 (KJV)

10 I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
Jer 17:10 (KJV)

36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Matt 12:36-37 (KJV)

5 For thy mouth uttereth thine iniquity, and thou choosest the tongue of the crafty. 6 Thine own mouth condemneth thee, and not I: yea, thine own lips testify against thee.
Job 15:5-6 (KJV)

This is like the nail in the coffin of this debate. The last chapter of the last book of the Bible; which revolves around the end days, which is when we live. We are told who enters into Heaven and has right to the tree of life.

14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Rev 22:14 (KJV)

The difference is not as much works; as if one keeps the work merely because its what they believe they need to do to be saved, or because it was what they were raised doing. In other words, it’s just a regular pattern of life meaning nothing; it is these who try to be saved by works.

But, if one realizes that sin is defined by God’s Law and sin causes death. We then understand the torture that Yeshua went through for us, because of sin. The love in us then compels us to avoid that thing that caused the death of our Creator. Only those who love Yeshua will enter into Heaven; I’m sure we can all agree that there will be no one in Heaven that did not love Christ. So, understanding all in this last paragraph, we then understand why Yeshua said, “if you love me keep my commandments” and why the book of Revelation says, “they that do His Commandments” will “have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city”.

The teaching of salvation by grace alone is a complete antichrist teaching, as it contradicts the Word of God “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.” James 2:17 (KJV), “But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?” James 2:20 (KJV), “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” James 2:26 (KJV)

Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
James 2:22 (KJV)

It is by this false teaching, of salvation by grace only with no need for works, that a false salvation is introduced, and why many will cry in that day Lord, Lord, and He will say I don’t know you, you that work lawlessness.

We must remove ourselves from the doctrine of man, remove from spending too much time in the things of this world and spend more time in a true, unadulterated, study of the Word of God.

7 Howbeit IN VAIN DO THEY WORSHIP ME, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. 8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. 9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
Mark 7:7-9 (KJV)

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: BECAUSE YOU HAVE REJECTED KNOWLEDGE, I will also reject thee,
Hosea 4:6 (KJV)
