NEW POPE

Cardinal Bertone did not make the seat of the Pope, as many wondered. Now a man, who authored a book called “Petrus Romanus: The Final Pope is Here”, claims the election of pope Francis is a “fantastic fulfillment of prophecy”.

Tom Horn, who co-authored the book, said Francis fulfills the “of Rome” prophecy because his parents are from Italy, though Francis was born in South America; the first pope in modern history to be born outside of Europe.

In the book, “Petrus Romanus...”, the authors gave a prediction the last pope would be a jesuit. Francis is a jesuit priest, and while that may seem to be a “shot in the dark” easily hitting something, he is the first jesuit pope in modern history. According to his book, Horn claims “Peter of Rome” would imply “this pope will reaffirm the authority of the Roman Pontiff over the Church and will emphasize the supremacy of the Roman Catholic Faith and the Roman Catholic Church above all other religions and denominations, and its authority over all Christians and all peoples of the world.”Horn pointed out the Jesuits order was organized “to stop Protestantism from spreading and to preserve communion with Rome and the successor of Peter.”

This is interesting to read as VOA (Voice of America) news reports: “other global faiths are also reacting to the new Vatican leader with congratulations and hope for renewed ties.”

Is this prophecy real or is it just another Nostradamus prophecy that was so vague that people force a fulfillment? Only time will tell.
