PLUGGING THE EARS

The faith of the majority of professing christians lay in the hands of a minister, or group of ministers of the same faith, who has told them what is real and what is not. Unfortunately, a greater error is made when they start studying the Holy Bible and refuse to listen to, or investigate, the teachings of someone else; just because they don’t teach what they have been instructed to believe. This was the error of the Israeli's, when the plugged their ears to the truth of Y'shua.
No one has all the light, no one knows the Holy Bible inside and out. Satan has sent wolves dressed as sheep. They’re typically not there, conspiring to deceive and lead people the wrong way. They’ve only been told what to believe, refused to listen to others who do not believe the same way, and pass that pattern down to the next generation.
A good judge listens to both sides before making a decision. They investigate all the claims and make a decision based on the overwhelming majority of evidence. We should be a good judge, like the Bereans, receive both sides of the platform with readiness, and search the scriptures for the overwhelming majority of evidence: Even if we THINK we already know the outcome.
Don’t just shut off, or stop reading, a teaching just because the teacher said something that was shockingly different than you’ve been trained to believe. Listen, read, investigate, determine.

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you will be no priest to me"
