WE'RE NO DIFFERENT

We think 60,000-70,000 thoughts in one day and 90% of those thoughts are the same thoughts as you had the day before. Your thoughts are connected to your life which means the same thoughts are connected to the same choices which lead to the same behaviors which create the same experiences which produce the same emotions and those emotions drive the same thoughts.

Your biology, your neurocircuitry, your neurochemistry, your neurohormones, and even your genetic expressions is equal to how you think, how you act, and how you feel. How you think, how you act, and how you feel, is called your personality.

If you want to create a new personality, a new life, you have to change your thoughts.

Today the American church does not stand out from the world. The ones who profess Christianity MUST profess it because their life does not look any different from the world. Could it be that this is true because our thoughts and actions resemble those from our past; before we proclaimed Christianity? Could it be that we look no different from the world because we indulge in most of the same things as the world (type of music, movies, TV) while ignoring the things of God? What we do drives what we think and if all a person does is say a prayer and go to church once or twice a week but they change nothing else in their life then their life does not change which means they are not responding to the gospel.

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
